In the UK Volkswagen scene there is a Baja revival, which in 2006 led to the launch of www.bajaclub.co.uk, the website dedicated to off-road VWs. BajaClub launched in October 2006 and includes a very active forum and technical articles from members. The site has grown into a thriving club, with more than 400 members worldwide.

When the club isn’t busy playing with their cars they organise off-roading at VW shows. You may have seen their tracks at VW Action and Plymouth Volksfest. If you own a Baja, Beach Buggy, Rail, Trekker or Syncro then pay them a visit and join in the fun!

BajaClub has been involved with Plymouth Volksfest from the very start. You might not have trekked to the off-road track in past years, so this time we are bringing the fun to you!

This year we will be putting on displays next to the main arena. (The times of the demonstrations are shown in the table below.) Next to the off-road area we will have a stand where you can see photos from other events and ask club members all about our vehicles and events.

The display area is only open to BajaClub members, but if you have a suitable vehicle you are welcome to join us on a green-laning trip. We will be heading into the countryside on the Saturday evening, so please come and see us before then so we can check your vehicle over. We may even be able to take a small number of passengers, so come and see us if you are interested.

A small donation to the club will be required to take part in the green laning trip.
