From it’s humble beginnings back in 2007, when 5 friends decided it was time to bring a very different type of festival to the southwest - combining the retro VW life style with a music festival, to what we’ve arrived at today has been the combined vision and effort of many people.  

Back in 2008 we had 2 stages and a mere 25 acts, by 2013 we had 6 stages and over 250 live acts, In previous years we have seen the likes of STEREO MCs,  THE LEVELLERS, ALI CAMPBELL, KID CREOLE AND THE COCONUTS, HARD FI, TOPLOADER, GENTLEMAN'S DUB CLUB, ZION TRAIN, DREADZONE, GOLDIE LOOKING CHAIN, NEVILLE STAPLE, THE UNDERTONES, THE BLOCKHEADS, HAZEL O’CONNOR & SETH LAKEMAN to name but a few.

We have had some great people on board over the years some still with us, some have moved on, but all have added to the festival in one way or another. Ray Rose is no longer on the team, but we continue to appreciate all he has done for the festival. Angelina Evangelou Vandike for all the amazing stuff she has done, and continues to do, in the cabaret tent - for me the highlight being Rufus Hound and Jack, who sadly passed away - to name a very few (apologies if I haven’t mentioned you but we love and respect you all). We have over a hundred and fifty volunteers join us each year to help this festival become what it is today so a great big thank you to you all xxx.
