Welcome to Plymouth Volksfest 2009, being held again in the picturesque setting of Newnham Park. Situated on the outskirts of Plymouth, Newnham Park is set in a beautiful oak wooded valley at the heart of a 1550 acre country estate between the City of Plymouth and Dartmoor National Park.

Plymouth Volksfest is proud to confirm top UK festival band Dreadzone for Saturday night...if you've not yet had the Dreadzone experience...don't miss it!  Get Dreadzone's new free track 'For a Reason'	One of the biggest acts of the 80's, Hazel O'Connor, who had hits like Eighth Day and the huge number one Will You and will be showcasing her powerful contemporary talent.	Classic British Hip Hop group, Stereo MCs are headlining on Sunday, with their Old Skool hits such as Connected and tracks from their new album 'Double Bubble'

Thanks to everyone who came along and made the first Plymouth Volksfest such an amazing success. For 2009 we will be making the Festival bigger and better! More Volkswagens, more bands, more space & more fun!!! We already have a great line up of confirmed bands and are lining up some cracking headline acts...watch this space...

The show will offer everyone a chilled out, family friendly weekend with lots of entertainment for all. We have a great  line up of live bands, Dance Tent, children's entertainment and much more, not forgetting the Show'n'Shine of course! For a full events list click here.
